Den 16 september 1985 släppte The Waterboys albumet This is the sea.

Skivan är hyfsat bra och innehåller bl a Waterboys största hit - The whole of the moon. I övrigt är Don't bang the drum, Medicine bow och This is the sea ganska bra.
